Decluttering your home can have the effect of making rooms seem much larger and allowing buyers to picture their belonging and furniture in place.
How to declutter your home
Moving home is the perfect time to be ruthless and gather all your clutter and either:
Drop it off at the local charity shop.
Sell it at a car boot sale.
Or even contact local auction houses if you have antiques.
Bin what you can not sell or give away - or at least pack it away in the loft or in cupboards.
